Spotlight: Newborough Beach, Anglesey

Looking across to Snowdonia from one of Anglesey’s many beautiful beaches

The first of my new series of “Spotlight” photographs, this was taken in June 2014 after a refreshing sea swim on Newborough beach – this picture cost me an ice cream, but it was worth coming back as the light changed to capture a few quick photographs. I didn’t have my camera with me, but it just goes to show that sometimes, your best camera is the camera you have with you. I like how the blue/grey shades of the pebbles are reflected in the sky, and how the light just catches the end of the beach below the mountains over the Straits in Snowdonia.
